Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Mass Intentions ("the app") collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. Mass Intentions is built for priests and parish staff to track Mass intentions, stipends, and personal anniversaries.

Information you store in the app

The intentions, requester names, stipend records, personal anniversaries, and profile details (name and photo) you enter are stored on your device. If you enable iCloud Sync in Settings, this data is stored in your own private iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit so it can sync across your own devices — we do not operate a server that receives, stores, or has access to this data ourselves.

You can permanently delete this data at any time from Settings → Erase All Data.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Mass Intentions shows ads served by Google's AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to support free use of the app. To do this, the SDK may collect certain information from the app, including:

• Your IP address, which may be used to estimate the general location of your device.
• Non-user-related crash logs, used to diagnose problems and improve the SDK. This diagnostic information may also be used for advertising and analytics purposes.
• Performance data such as app launch time, hang rate, or energy usage, used to understand app behavior and plan improvements. This data may also be used for displaying ads, including sharing with other entities that display ads.
• A device identifier, such as your device's advertising identifier or other app- or developer-scoped device identifiers, used for third-party advertising and analytics.
• Advertising data, such as ads you've seen, used to power analytics and advertising features.
• Other interactions with the app, like taps and video views, used to improve advertising performance.

In-app purchases

The optional "Remove Ads" purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment information — Apple's own Privacy Policy covers how they handle purchase data.

Children's privacy

Mass Intentions is a professional tool for clergy and parish staff and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your choices

• Turn iCloud Sync on or off at any time in Settings.
• Erase all app data at any time in Settings → Erase All Data.
• Purchase "Remove Ads" to stop ads (and the related SDK data collection above) from running in the app.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
